Have you entered to win Vega samples yet? Enter here! Contest ends tonight!

It’s Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday, and this weekend I have two Thanksgiving dinners to attend! :)

In the spirit of giving thanks, and giving back to the community, I’m excited about a new project Eat Clean Live Green is involved in:

Project Feed Me is a program in which each one of us helps to feed thousands of hungry families. Over the next nine weeks, Natalie from No No 2 Yo Yo will be posting food items that food banks are in need of. Each week, I’ll purchase at least two of them, and donate them to a local food bank.

If I buy two items each week, and three of you each buy two items a week (and each of you gets three people participating) we could contribute 1.2 million items to food banks!

Want to get involved? Register for Project Feed Me! :)

Do you volunteer and give back to your community? Will you be  particpating in Project Feed Me?

I have volunteered at “The Love Kitchen” which feeds the homeless, which is so much fun! Great name, too. ;-)

I also love to volunteer with refugees. If anyone needs more info, a great site is http://www.volunteermatch.com for local opportunities in your area!
