Happy Birthday Jesus

by Allison on December 25, 2009

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more? Dr. Seuss

Merry Christmas!

In my family, Christmas Eve dinner is always at my Grandma’s house. After dinner last night, my Grandma brought out a birthday cake, and we all started singing. I was a little confused – I wasn’t sure if we were singing Happy Birthday to Jesus or not. Sounds like a fun tradition to start up!

(turns out, it was a belated birthday cake for my Grandpa)

Happy belated Birthday Grandpa!

And Happy Birthday, Jesus.
